Daniel E. Jacobi
Daniel E. Jacobi is the Associate General Counsel of DuPont for Agriculture and Nutrition. He has the leadership responsibility for legal support to the Ag and Nutrition platform and has functional oversight for the Pioneer Hi-Bred International legal organization.
Dan joined the Pioneer Corporate Legal Department in 1997. Over the years, his areas of responsibility have included human resources, risk management, real estate management, and the Africa, Southeast Asia and China business groups. In 2001, he was named Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc, and in 2008 was named Associate General Counsel of DuPont.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Dan grew up in Northeast Iowa. He earned his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in psychology and his juris doctorate degree from Drake University. He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association.
In support of the community, Dan currently serves as a Trustee of Drake University. He has been a Co-Chair of the Legal Campaign for the United Way of Central Iowa, and an executive sponsor of the Pioneer United Way Campaign Committee. He was the Corporate Co-Chair of the 2005 NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet, and has volunteered his time as a board member for Living History Farms, and Mainstream Living, Inc.
