Sharon A. Leyhow
Sharon A. Leyhow is an Associate General Counsel and Chief Counsel International Trade, and Chief Counsel Product Compliance in DuPont Legal. Specifically, she is responsible for managing commercial and International trade lawyers.
Previously, she was the Associate General Counsel for Asia Pacific for DuPont. Located in Hong Kong, she was responsible for a group of 12 lawyers and three legal assistants throughout AP. Ms. Leyhow has held a variety of positions within Legal during her career at DuPont. She has advised the Safety Resources Business and Engineering Polymers on commercial matters. She also advised HR on benefit matters. In 2000, Ms. Leyhow was a recipient of The DuPont Marketing Excellence Award.
Prior to joining DuPont in 1990, Ms. Leyhow was Senior Manager for Ernst and Young in Atlanta, Georgia, and counsel for RJ Reynolds. Ms. Leyhow holds a BA degree in psychology from Smith College in Northampton, MA, and a J.D degree from Georgetown University School of Law in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the District of Columbia and Georgia Bars.
