DuPont is a leader in law firm partnering. Before 1992, it had more than 350 law firms and scores of service providers and consultants. DuPont transformed this group during a three-and-a-half year “convergence process” into a legal network of 39 Primary Law Firms (PLFs), 10 Primary Service Providers (PSPs) and Diverse Legal Suppliers. The DuPont Legal Model served as a framework for this process.
Each member in our legal network is a true long-term “strategic partner.” Since our success depends on the quality of our business relationships, these firms were chosen very carefully. PLFs and Service Providers are selected based on their commitment to:
