Alderson has been the premier company in the court reporting industry since its inception in 1938. We provide court reporting, videography, and litigation support services to the legal community worldwide, including Am Law 100 law firms, U.S. presidents, international agencies, and more. We have earned our reputation by providing exceptional quality and customer service. From our coordination of complex multi-district litigation cases, to our work on the September 11 th Victim’s Compensation Fund hearings, we continually Set The Standard.
Throughout Alderson’s 70-year tenure we have been privileged to report on some of the biggest events in U.S. history. We were the firm of choice at the Army-McCarthy hearings, the TFX investigations, the Labor Racketeering Hearings, ratification of the SALT agreements, and even Howard Hughes testifying before a Senate investigative committee. We assisted President John F. Kennedy by providing transcripts of every speech he made during his presidential campaign and then became the official White House reporter during his presidency. We were then called in by the Warren Commission to report on Kennedy’s assassination in 1963. We covered the Presidential Commission on the Space Shuttle Challenger Accident. Alderson was proud to deliver daily transcripts to the New York office of PriceWaterhouse Coopers (“PWC”) and to the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, DC simultaneously during the September 11 th Victim’s Compensation Fund Hearings. We reported on 4,000 cases in a three month period allowing PWC to coordinate timely payments to the victims in their time of need. For high-profile cases of national importance, Alderson has provided real-time transcripts to the U.S. Supreme Court Justices, the press and the public.
With an extensive database of court reporters and videographers, our clients rely upon us to meet their needs – nationally and internationally. DuPont, in particular, has come to rely on Alderson for many years.
