DuPont is a leader in law firm partnering. Before 1992, it had more than 350 law firms and scores of service providers and consultants. DuPont transformed this group during a three-and-a-half year “convergence process” into a legal network of 40 Primary Law Firms (PLFs), 10 Primary Service Providers (PSPs) and Diverse Legal Suppliers. The DuPont Legal Model served as a framework for this process.
